I wanted to do a blog post on all the home updates I've done thus far, so I am going to start with the kitchen! As many of you have seen over the past couple week/months I have made quite a few changes to my kitchen.
A while back I painted the cabinets white, I also changed out the sink and fixtures, and finally replaced the backsplash! See all before and after photos below.

My first changes....
The first thing I did was change out the light fixtures and painted a burgundy accent wall in the kitchen. Of course the light fixtures were diamonds 💁🏻♀️💁🏻♀️💁🏻♀️ And thanks to my dad who hung each individual strand of rhinestones LOL (documented below)
Whiten and Brighten
Okay so after adding the rhinestones and burgundy wall I still wasn't satisfied. I get my home DIY projects from my dad (if you know you know LOL always needing a project). Anyways, I decided I needed to brighten up the place by painting my cabinets white. These cabinets are OLD so I wasn't too concerned if I completely ruined them because they were basically falling off anyways. I ended up painting them white and changing out the knobs AND replacing the hinges. This completely brightened up the place! They aren't perfect and if you're going to paint your cabinets yourself SPRAY PAINT!
New Sink!
Next thing I replaced was the sink! It was old and gross and I bought this white drop in sink at Home Depot. I thought we were going to die (dramatic 💁🏻♀️) putting the new sink in because it was so heavy but we lived with all of our fingers still attached.
Painted the kitchen table
I randomly got bored one day and decided to paint my kitchen table white 🤷🏻♀️ kinda love it though... (I used white chalked paint for this and a gloss to seal it)
Tile Replacement
Alright y'all this was hard. But if I can do this... you can do it! I removed all the current tile, and replaced it with a marble mosaic tile and it looks like a whole new kitchen! Check it out....
Tile Floor Replacement
The final step to my kitchen remodel was my flooring and it is finally finished!
